I always wanted to go back to where I belong. It's a very good thing that we have our own site. At least, we are in touch of what is happening in our batch. Congratulations to all our brothers keeping the fire alive! Francis harani na ako mag-uli sa Naga.
Magpainom ka boy! Hehehe.

Para sa gabos:
Grabe na pinagbago kan gabos.Ang iba na makaigo sa picture. Ha ha ha. Kabali na ako diyan, Konting diet mga pare ko. Maski mayo ako diyan sa pagtiripon(reunion) yaon an sakong pakikisumaro. I'm looking forward to attend our grand reunion by 2009. Maray na lang pa lan ta nabisita ko ulit ining webpage. Uyon ako sa suggestion ni Owen Marquez na kaipuhan ta ng balikan (assess) ang mga previous activities kan satuyang batch, and identify strategies/activities in the future. If we really wanted to position ourselves strategically, then we should set the mission, vision and goals of our organization (batch 84). I'm happy that we already have an Ad-hoc to oversee present and upcoming activities of our batch, which is a great challenge for them and whole batch. Sana sa susunod makaiba na man sko.
By the way Owen, mabisita palan ako diyan sa Zaragosa City, Aragon, Spain sa first week of September this year. Ma attend akong conference on Water and Sustainable Development organized by Birdlife International saka Aqua Zaragosa. Kung may time, baka pwede kitang maghilingan para tukduan mo ako nin Espanol.Ha ha, para dae ako mawara.I'm sure missed mo na an mga bikol delicacies, dadarahan ta kang pili nuts, bikol express and pinangat.
Para sa gabos, let's maximize the use of this network for easy communication lalo na idtong mga nasa hararayo para pag nagpost ka nin message, napa ka "personalized" garo mo man lang kaulay an lambang saro. Ingat kamo gabos. Diyos an magbantay.
Mayong iba,
Noel

Marhay na aldaw!
My support to the Batch 84! Pls allow me to suggest on matters pertaining to the grand reunion.....can we include the following questions on your next business meeting please:(my guide questions are not properly organized, i just have to write it down...bahal na kamo kaining maghimay!)
1. Assuming that today is our grand reunion, what do we want it to be? can we have a very simple objective?
2. What is the role of the Batch 84 in the grand reunion for the year 2008 and for the grand reunion 2009?
3. Looking into the last 5 years of reunions, what have we experienced that we considered worthwhile activities? what were their plans and objectives? considering their plans and objectives, which of them were attained and not? what were the commonly encountered challenges and how did they overcome those challenges? (Assessment) What common problems did they encountered, how did they resolve it, if not resolve, why? More recommendation if you may allow, pasensya na mga brods dai pa makaka attend nin reunion for now "TNT" pa guiraray.
4. Kun ika an hahapoton! Ano an gusto mong mangyari sa grand reunion? kun ngunyan na an grand reunion? ano an gusto mong mahiling?, mamatian? ano an mga gusto mong ma experience na naiiba?
5. Considering that we have a more complex segment of the community, how can we generate participation among these segments(meaning iba-ibang...batches.....an iba...lolo mo na....an iba ama ta na.....an iba mga tiyoon ninda....)
6. Can we look unto the extent of our responsibility sa grand reunion 2009?...just wanted to clarify....the grand reunion is being anchored or lead by what batch? so there be other batches working and having responsibilities....the need for coordination i believe is absolutely necessary.
Ini na ngona, brods an mai-recom ok, siguro inot sa gabos...ma´woton tang pirming harani kita sa satuyang Mahal na Dios asin hagadon ta an tabang niya para sasatuyang espuerso.....dagos na kita gabos na magpasalamat ta igwa na initiative an Naga asin Manila......
Marhay siguro, tabi, Ton(chairman) visitahon ta an mga nakalipas na mga grand reunion ngu´na para maka set kita kan satuyang dericcion....it was said that, "those who do not remember the past, are condemned to repeat it!"
but for those who are ready........all it takes is for one to share whatever he can....no matter how small or great.

dear batchmates,
just read the messages posted. pasensiya na, i was in manila last april 9 to attend the ordination of jesuits priests who were assigned in naga. i committed to that earlier this year so i miss the fun during our batch gathering. while in manila, i also had an appointment at the embassy of japan for my two week this summer as part of our student exchange program with hiroshima gakuin - a jesuit school too. hiroshima gakuin supports a number of scholars in our high school.
anyway, i look forward to seeing you next year. im based in pacol campus, helping mr. abonal manage the student activities and community programs. this early we`re preparing for the next paaascu visit which will take place 2 years from now.
i`m glad to know that our batch is supporting teacher development...we really need more support for teacher development. i sit in the faculty development committee.
from time to time i see don bulaong, de jesus and others in pacol campus... the are doting fathers you know. good luck to all and may the good lord always bless you with good health...

Hi guys:
Photos from our class reunion last 04/09 are now on www.pbase.com/jonox67. The password is adenhs84. Posted in chronological order, the photos will show you the activities comprising the reunion. It started with a mass at 0800H in the new Ateneo de Naga University church, followed by a quick trip to the library which our class helped build some 10 years ago. The group proceeded to the Naga City Youth Center (at the Civic Center) where the mass wedding of around eight (8) couples, including LG18’s class president, Dick Reyes, was held. Lunch for the newlyweds and their guests was in the same place.
Shortly after lunch, we had a quick meeting presided over by Celoy Abelardo where the group decided to try and raise PHP1,000,000.00 for our silver anniversary in 2009. This will go mostly to projects which we will embark on to support the High School. Fenny Cordial was kind enough to bankroll the PHP10,000.00 required to open the savings account at PNB. A committee composed of Rey Bajo, Fenny, and Lalo Alfonso was formed to administer the fund. More importantly, we also agreed to meet annually around 04/09 and to try to trace the whereabouts of our other classmates. We have less than 100 of the 199 members of our class accounted for in the directory so if you know how to get in touch with some of our classmates, please feel free to fill the details in and e-mail them to our e-group (adenbatch84@yahoogroups.com)
Some of us went back to the Ateneo covered courts to shoot some hoops. The biggest revelation, at least to me, was Rodel Ibasco who grew to about 5’11 and learned how to play basketball really well in his junior year in college. He was almost as good as I (he he he, just kidding) last Saturday. Not a bad day in the courts really as we showed the younger guys who played with us that they can’t mess with HS84. We lost our first game but by the time we played another group of youngsters, our mainstays, Rodel, Poyee Dychinco, Edgar Caresosa, Rex Gonzales, Jojo de Jesus, Jun Lim, Anthony de Leoz, Pio Namoro, among others got going and clobbered the opposition mercilessly.
Mr. Abonal and our Chemistry teacher, Mr. Arnulfo Rubio, honored us with their presence at the dinner which was held again at the Youth Center. Mr. Abonal briefed us on the developments in the High School and at our request, told us how we may be of help. It seems that scholarships are plentiful so he suggested that perhaps we can consider supporting teacher development. The party started with a live band providing the music. Responding to insistent demand, Don Bulaong and Abe Tondo helped the band out with a few songs. I understand the party continued past midnight with some guys adjourning to Molino Grill where they hung out till 0300H.
On the whole, the atmosphere in the reunion was quite refreshing. I hope we can keep this up. Those of you who are not part of the e-group yet, please sign up. We look forward to seeing you all next year.
Warmest regards.
Dong

something to think about
Mayonnaise Jar & Two Beers...
When things in your life seem almost too much to handle, when 24 hours in a day are not enough, remember the mayonnaise jar and the 2 Beers.
A professor stood before his philosophy class and had some items in front of him.
When the class began, he wordlessly picked up a very large and empty mayonnaise jar and proceeded to fill it with golf balls.
He then asked the students if the jar was full.
They agreed that it was..
The professor then picked up a box of pebbles and poured them into the jar. He shook the jar lightly.
The pebbles rolled into the open areas between the golf balls.
He then asked the students again if the jar was full.
They agreed it was.
The professor next picked up a box of sand and poured it into the jar.
Of course, the sand filled up everything else.
He asked once more if the jar was full.
The students responded with a unanimous 'yes.'
The professor then produced two Beers from under the table and poured the entire contents into the jar effectively filling the empty space between the sand.
The students laughed..
'Now,' said the professor as the laughter subsided, 'I want you to recognize that this jar represents your life.
The golf balls are the important things---your family, your children, your health, your fri ends and your favorite passions---and if everything else was lost and only they remained, your life would still be full.
The pebbles are the other things that matter like your job, your house and your car.
The sand is everything else---the small stuff.
'If you put the sand into the jar first,' he continued, 'there is no room for the pebbles or the golf balls.
The same goes for life.
If you spend all your time and energy on the small stuff you will never have room for the things that are important to you.
Pay attention to the things that are critical to your happiness.
Spend time with your children.
Spend time with your parents.
Visit with grandparents.
Take time to get medical checkups.
Take your spouse out to dinner.
Play another 18..
There will always be time to clean the house and fix the disposal.
Take care of the golf balls first---the things that really matter.
Set your priorities.
The rest is just sand.
One of the students raised her hand and inquired what the Beer represented.
The professor smiled and said, 'I'm glad you asked.'
The Beer just shows you that no matter how full your life may seem, there's always room for a couple of Beers with a friend.
Please share this with someone you care about. I JUST DID!

update
It is now July 5, 2009, barely six months from today, we shall be holding our Silver Jubilee Homecoming. As of today, we have approximately PhP230,000, still far from the target, PhP600,000.00.
Our batch consists of 200 graduates and i believe only a handful are in the Great Beyond. What is baffling, however, is the fact that only 30 or more of the 200 graduates have made good their commitment to do their share in the cost of the reunion. Hopefully, the numbers and the amount shall balloon very soon and we can ensure a great and joyous occassion come December.
Please find ur names in this list, if u have contributed and ur name is not in the list. please inform me.
if you want the high school reunion to be a truly memorable one and you have not passed to the Great Beyond, now is the chance to be be part of this great endeavour. and unless you want to be considered as having crossed to the Great Beyond, heheheheheh, do something..... para sa batch!
