realizations

i am very happy with the turn of events in ateneo de naga alumni community. everybody has shown great interest and has actively participated in the activities.

of course it is because its basketball and everybody has shown interest, but beyond that, the fact that ateneans have found one common passion which has become the starting point for greater involvement and participation.

when i accepted the challenge of heading the alumni board, i never imagined that this will come to this. the prevailing mentality then was that our batch (Batch 1984) is a great and we shall prove to them that we are the best.

of course, it has been proven and it has been validated many times that indeed we are a great batch of ateneans. i am sure no one can dispute that. but beyond the greatness of our batch is the indubitable fact that ateneans are great and if every great batch of atenean is challenged to show their skills and potentials, we can conquer all odds andwe can make even greater things happen.

that is what make ateneo great and rising to the challenge to be man and women for others and being excellent in service.
